The Hungarian–Norwegian Chamber of Commerce (HNCC) celebrated its 10th anniversary this year by holding its annual General Assembly in Budapest. As part of the event series organized between May 4–8, several members from Norway participated in professional and cultural programs across Hungary. The participants visited several notable locations, including the Zwack Unicum Museum, the Herend Porcelain Manufactory, the Visegrád Castle, and the Hungarian Parliament. The delegation also took part in a professional visit to the Székesfehérvár factory of Garzon Bútor Zrt., where they gained insight into the company’s manufacturing, packaging, and logistics operations. The General Assembly was held on May 5 at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Budapest with the participation of approximately 24 chamber members. H.E. Vegard Kaale, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Hungary, emphasized the importance of strengthening Hungarian–Norwegian business relations. Adam Laska, Chairman of the HNCC, expressed his pleasure that Hungarian and Norwegian members had the opportunity to meet and build relationships in person, while also thanking the embassy for its support. Zsolt Kakuszi, Project Manager of the HNCC, presented the chamber’s current budget, membership status, activities carried out during the first quarter of 2026, and upcoming events. klara jankovics, co-founder and Hungarian representative of the HNCC, gave a presentation about the chamber’s past ten years, highlighting its development, major events, business delegations, and the achievements of member companies. The program series concluded with a jubilee dinner, providing an excellent opportunity for Hungarian and Norwegian members to further strengthen their professional and business relationships. During the event, Adam Laska, Chairman of the HNCC, expressed his special thanks to Klara Jankovics for her many years of dedicated work and commitment to the organization, as she will conclude her activities with the chamber this year.
