SUMMARY:Wine tasting of premium quality Hungarian wines
DESCRIPTION:Hungary has a very long wine history\, including the world’s first official wine classification system\, established back in the 1730s in Tokaji. Throughout the 17th and 19th centuries\, Hungary was one of Europe’s most important wine producers but the 1880s Phylloxera\, the two world wars and 45 years of communist rule have put Hungary\, as an important part of the world’s wine production\, in the shadow for many years. With this wine tasting we would like to show that Hungarian wine is much more than it is normally expected of it in Norway! \nDate and location: March 25th\, 13:00 – 15:30\, Restaurant Feinschmecker in Oslo. \nThe following wines will be included in the menu:\n3 Pinot Noire\n1 Bikaver Supperior\n1 Chardonnay\n1 Dry Furmint\n1 Olaszrizling \nPartners of the event: House of Hungary\, Happy Hungarian Wine \n  \n

SUMMARY:Would you like to taste the world's award-winning chocolates?
DESCRIPTION:We offer you a short presentation about the bean-to-bar chocolate revolution followed by a long chocolate tasting directed by Csaba Tóth (www.sjokohuset.no // https://www.facebook.com/Sjokohuset.no) chocolate connoisseur. You will learn about the similarities between a good bean-to-bar chocolate maker and an oenologist\, how we taste chocolate\, how you can recognize premium chocolate in supermarkets and the difference between fine and industrial chocolate. You can experience that chocolate is not just a sweet dessert but an authentic gourmet food. It is like wine in many ways; contains more than 600 different flavour components depending on the origin of the plant\, type of bean and the method of processing. Premium chocolate is hardly sweet\, but very delicious. The event will be like wine tasting and it will be about flavours and aromas.\nThe event is also a great opportunity to popularize Hungarian chocolate producers who are currently interested in the Scandinavian market. \nRsvp:until nov. 29th to mission.osl@mfa.gov.hu \nTime: Thursday 6 December 2018 at. From 17.30 to 19.00.\nPlace: Hungary Embassy\, Sophus Lies gt. 3\, Oslo.

SUMMARY:Business Conference in Budapest
DESCRIPTION:HNCC has recently been organized a business trip to Budapest. Our goal with the business trip was to get HNCC members to know each other and to find eventually interesting business opportunities or business partners in Hungary/Norway. The business forum was held at Oppenheim Law Firm’s offices in Ybl Palace\, downtown Budapest\, with about 30 participants who could listen to a number of informative lectures on how to do business in Norway and in Hungary\, on export/import\, on tourism and on current and mid-term economic situation of Hungary. HE. Olav Berstad\, the norwegian ambassador to Hungary also gave a lecture. The Chamber also assisted members in partner searches and in organizing personal business meetings. So all our members had the opportunity to find relevant partners for efficient and fast business development. However\, the trip was not just about business\, but also about visiting some interesting historical places not only in Budapest (besides sightseeing at Pest and Buda\, touring to the marvellous building of the Parliament)\, but also in the countryside: Pannonhalma\, Gödöllő and Eger. Experiencing flavours of Hungarian culinary art and viticulture also formed part of the program:) \nHE Anna Mária Sikó\, Hungarian Ambassador to Norway greets the members \nHE Olav Berstad\, Norwegian Ambassador to Hungary \nHNCC Chairman\, Mr. Adam Laska at the farewell dinner \nPannonhalma
