On 9 December, Ambassador Kristóf Altusz, accompanied by Adam Laska, Chairman of the HNCC, and Zsolt Kakuszi, HNCC Project Manager, conducted a factory visit to the Otta headquarters of Norsk Kleber AS, a leading Norwegian soapstone fireplace producer. The delegation was received by CEO Brede Børud, and Technical Director Frode Eggan. The visit followed a Hungarian business trip organised in late November to introduce the Norwegian company and the Hungarian fireplace manufacturer Wamsler SE to each other and explore potential cooperation. During the meeting, the management of Norsk Kleber presented the company’s history, product portfolio, manufacturing technologies and market strategy, highlighting long-standing plans to enter the Hungarian market. The visit concluded with a guided tour of the production facilities, showcasing soapstone processing, CNC-controlled machinery, and the main stages of fireplace assembly.
