As part of the Economic Protection Action Plan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary together with the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA) launched its National Export Protection Program with a non-refundable subsidy of HUF 25 billion. The assistance is available for Hungarian domestic enterprises.
The aim of the Program is to prepare domestic enterprises to compete in foreign markets and to preserve and strengthen the Hungarian export performance. The Program aims to support companies in a difficult situation as a result of the corona pandemic, which has strongly impacted the export performance. The long-term impact of the support is to contribute to the expansion of the profits of domestic companies abroad, thus support the growth of domestic goodwill and national income.
The tender consists of two components:
1. The Foreign Market Access Support aims to facilitate the entry of Hungarian micro, small, medium and large enterprises into foreign markets with a budget of nearly HUF 2 billion.
2. The Foreign Market Growth Support with a budget of nearly HUF 23 billion supports investments abroad by small, medium and large companies.
